APP PROFILE
The Sleepwalker Protocol
Prototype
The Sleepwalker Protocol is a narrative puzzle game where each choice modifies what the player can remember, and what the world remembers about the player. The design focuses on replay value through branching memory states.
Core loop
Players investigate fragmented scenes, resolve logic and pattern puzzles, and commit to high-consequence choices that persist into later chapters. We are optimizing for high tension without requiring long sessions.
Instead of simple branch trees, the experience uses stateful memory flags that alter puzzle context, dialogue access, and environmental clues in future runs.
What we are testing
- Replay motivation from memory-locked content versus achievement-based rewards.
- Session depth targets for both casual and core puzzle audiences.
- Narrative clarity under branching complexity constraints.
- How adaptive hinting impacts puzzle completion and satisfaction.
Release intent
The first public build is scoped as a compact chapter release to validate retention and completion metrics. If chapter one performs, we expand through seasonal content drops.
This project underpins a potential Graylark Games direction for narrative-first mobile releases.
